Holiday Activities At Marina del Rey

Marina Del Rey presents a variety of winter activities that the whole family can enjoy.

Snow Wonder (11am-4pm)

During the day, children can experience real snow, sledding, face painting, arts & crafts, a live DJ, food rucks and more. Don’t forget to stay after for the fireworks and 57th annual boat parade.

Kick off the holiday season with this year’s theme, “Kids Make Holidays Bright”.

Viewing Areas

Burton Chace Park is a great place for the family to view everything happening across the riverfront. The festive atmosphere will be accompanied music and announced by, Lisa Osborn and Micky Laszlo.

Another popular viewing area is The Fisherman’s Village. Here, you can watch the parade circle around the channel from a waterfront seat or a nearby restaurant. Viewing restaurants include: El Tortito, Sapori Italian Restaurant and Whiskey Reds.

There is also a beach shuttle that runs a loop between Playa Vista, the Marina and Venice Pier. Shuttles arrive every 30 minutes. Hours of operations are Fri & Sat 10am-10pm and Sundays & Select holidays 10am-8pm.

The Free Ride offers free transportation in the Marina from Noon-9pm. Wave the car down or text your location, destination and passenger count to 323-435-5000. It takes 10-15 minutes to be picked up.
